November 20, 2003

This is a very poor shot of the support after countersinking.  I'm using a Canon EOS D30 digital SLR camera.  It's a great camera, but will require a different lens for doing close-up work.

Attempt #2 to display the countersinking.  This shows how close I can get before the focus goes *pfft*.

Okay, the instructions didn't say to flange the rib flanges, but these things had more curve than a Victoria Secret model, so I did it anyways.  Van's said to not worry about making them straight, just so that you can line the holes up once the skin goes on, but I think the closer I can get it the better.

A short day for working, but at least I managed to get something done!
