Back to work!  Ahh, it feels good.

Why a picture of the VS here?  Because I finally got the those 2 final rivets shot at the lower hinge.  Tried my thin-nose/no-hole squeezer yoke, but that still didn't fit, so I wound up shooting them. 

Vertical Stabilizer is done!

Finally starting on the HS!  Damn, it's good to be back at work!  This is the rear spar, the 8 hinge halves, and the spar strap (HS-906?).  The edge cleanup is done.  The 906 strap had little boogers on all the edges from where the machine cut it, so I filed all of them off, and then scotchbrited the edge.  Clean as a baby's bottom!  (cleaner, actually...ever seen one of those messy things?)

This is as far as I got tonite, only had a little while to work.  The brace is cleco'd in place, and is ready for the next step, which is doing some drilling.
