Time to finish off the rudder.  First step is to clamp the counter-balance weight in position

With the counter-balance weight in place, I folded the skins just enough to put a crease in them.  Then I clamped a couple of wooden blocks along the crease line.  The bottom block has had it's edge radiused to give more of a curve to the skin.

Important: don't line up the bottom block with the crease!  This won't put the bend far enough out.  Slide the block as far out as you can w/o undoing the crease, then clamp the top block in place.  That should give you enough room.  If you don't, you'll wind up doing secondary bends, etc. to get the fit right

Time to test the fit with the weight in place.  It works!  (after a bunch of re-working, but I won't mention that)

Tape is on to hold both halves in place.  Now I used the #19 drill to mark the skins for the screw holes (from the back side).

Holes are drilled, cleaned up, dimpled, etc.  Be careful counter-sinking the lead that you don't go too far.  It grabs the bit because it's so soft.

The rudder is done!
