Time to get rolling!  The stains are from sanding the angle iron.  Some of the spots are caused by lubricating oil.  My DA 6" sander goes thru a LOT of air, so it winds up using a wee bit of oil.

Angle iron, clamped in place (at one end, anyways).  I didn't take a shot, but by this time, all the holes for the trailing edge were already drilled into the angle.

Setting up the right skin.  The plum colored wood are some extra cabinet skins I had in the wood pile that are the exact thickness of the angle, making it good to level out the working surface.

Left skin is in place, with the R1004 rib cleco'd to help hold it in position.
