Filling in the holes has begun!

We're having to bring in a LOT of dirt & sand to fill the back side of the retaining wall.  You can't see it here because it's underneath all the dirt, but we've put a french drain, and a rock field at the bottom of the wall to allow any water pressure build-up to have any easy path out from behind the wall.  It's probably not needed, as there is almost no moisture in the hillside, and once it's capped by the concrete driveway any moisture will have to migrate from under the road.

This is the exit end of the french drain.  The gutters will also tie into this same drain hose.

I've had a similar shot before, I think, but here's the outside all smoothed down.  We still need to add some dirt up by the white pvc pipe (which is the sprinkler drain) but we'll probably wait until the project is done, since it's such a low priority.

Still a lot of dirt to move.
