Ahhh, it's arrived! The new tool! Gotta love it.
Chicago Pneumatic 214. Doesn't have an adjustable set, so I'll
order one of those. One of the reasons I chose this model was
because Avery has based some of it's tools on it. The adjustable
set in the Avery hand squeezer fits the 214, as so the yokes and
quick-release pins.

On the way home I stopped by Harbor Freight. Some guys on one
of the lists were talking about the 6" chop saw being on
sale. My newspaper ad didn't mention it, but on checking the
store, it was on sale so I snagged one. They also had a sale on
sheet metal nibblers, so I picked up one of those as well. Don't
need either one yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Because of the length of the rivets called out for the rear spar, it
took the pneumatic 2 passes to get them all the way down. Here
I've just stuck the rivets into the holes...

...1st pass, ticht enough to hold, but not squeezed enough...

...2nd pass, and they're perfect! I love this thing!

It's kind of hard to tell in the shot, but that rivet that the arrow
points to isn't 'shoed' over, it actually cracked right in half.
Heard of that happening, but hadn't seen it yet.

Hinge plates were tougher to squeeze making everything fit.
Needed to get rid of the cleco's on the side being riveted so I clamped
the thing tight and them squeezed them off.

Rear spar is done!

Riveting the brace on the front spar

Done with the front spar! Lighting makes the shop heads look
like they are different sizes, but they aren't.
