Not a whole lot to show for today, photo-wise. The evening was spent deburring & dimpling, in other words, it was exciting...yeah right...you buy that, and I've got some ocean-front property in Arizona just for you... This is the shot of the rolled edge on the rudder skin. I did just enough to see a bend, but not enough to be really noticeable.

Easiest way to dimple lots of little parts is to mount the squeezer in the vise, which makes it a one-handed operation.
...and the skin is done!
Tomorrow it'll be time to prep & prime the various parts. Probably won't get to start riveting on it until next week, since friday is the EAA chapter meeting, and I'm off to Seattle for the weekend. |
